Alchemist

Alchemist is an intelligent chemical design and simulation platform independently developed by Hongzhiwei Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Hongzhiwei" for short) in China, dedicated to redefining the efficiency of scientific research. As a comprehensive alternative to ChemDraw, Alchemist adopts a minimalist interactive design (such as molecular-level hotkeys and global shortcuts). It enables molecular drawing with the minimum number of clicks and supports one-click completion of high-frequency scientific research tasks, including converting literature images to structural formulas and calculating molecular weights. The platform natively supports the formats of mainstream structure editors, including ChemDraw (CDX/CDXML) and MarvinSketch (CML/MRV). It is also deeply integrated with the Office/WPS office ecosystem, allowing the copying and editing of chemical structures in documents and ensuring users can seamlessly migrate to Alchemist. Ranging from AI-driven chemical image recognition and bidirectional conversion between IUPAC names and structural formulas to high-level integration with quantum chemical calculations, Alchemist always adheres to the design principle of the shortest operation path and takes data security assurance as its core. It provides a one-stop molecular modeling solution that is easy to get started with (zero threshold) and enables high-efficiency output, serving fields such as chemistry, biology, pharmacy, and materials science.
