First-Principles Quantum Transport Calculation Software

Nanodcal is a first-principles-based quantum transport software, whose core lies in the Non-Equilibrium Green's Function-Density Functional Theory (NEGF-DFT). It is mainly used to simulate the nonlinear and non-equilibrium quantum transport processes in device materials. Without relying on any phenomenological parameters, it can predict a variety of electronic transport properties of materials, such as current-voltage characteristics, electronic transmission spectra, and electrical conductance.
