Tight-Binding Quantum Transport Calculation Software

Nanoskim is a quantum transport simulation software based on the Slater-Koster tight-binding potential field, which enables the construction of nanodevices at the atomic level. Under non-equilibrium conditions, it obtains the electron density and electrostatic potential of nanodevices by self-consistently solving the Non-equilibrium Green's function (NEGF) and Poisson's equation. Thus, it can fully take into account quantum mechanical effects (such as source-drain tunneling effect, quantum confinement effect, electron-phonon coupling effect) and specific atomic details (such as cross-sectional shape, impurity position), etc.
